This tobacco pouch survived for approximately 85-100 years under the seat of an old car that my son had bought.  "Series of 1917" stamps were used until 1926, so this 1917 Big Value 5c Sealed Cigarette Tobacco Pouch with Revenue Stamp Brandom P589 (Ryan RP807 - Roulette, blue serial #6028457), 1/18th pound pouch is a real survivor.  This tobacco was Canadian, as "Made in Canada" is printed on the lower left and the Factory was "10 Port 50 E", which is researchable, but I have not done.As mentioned in the description, the stamp appears torn right beside the right side of the 1/18th pound value tablet and there is a unrepaired tear on the right side of the pouch itself where a few flakes of the tobacco have fallen out.  Overall, a great display piece for Tobacciana collection or for your tobacco revenue stamp collection!  I have searched the internet with no luck finding any similar pouch with any other stamp of this period, nor this brand or pouch type.
